Light Coker Naphtha (LCN) from the Coker (DCU) is fed to the existing C5 Merox Unit mercaptan  extraction section within the FCC complex. Caustic is regenerated by the existing FCC LPG  Merox Unit Regeneration section.   The LCN is treated with a circulating caustic solution in the C5 Extractor (T-7591) to remove  mercaptans. The treated LCN passes through the C5/Caustic KO Drum (D-7591) and then  through the C5 Sand Filter (T-7592).  In the LPG Merox Unit, the rich caustic stream is regenerated and the mercaptans are converted  to disulfide oil by reaction with air. The regenerated caustic is sent back to the C5 Merox Unit.  Di sulfide oils are separated and routed to DD7 for hydrotreating.  Vent gas from the disulfide  separator is routed to a process heater for combustion.
